Help with making the WMF for WINPAK Floor Plan
This post is to help with making the WMF file for WINPAKs Floor Plan
Winpaks Floor Plan is a nice feature
The hard part of creating a floor plan is the WMF
1. I made a folder just for all the files created
ex. winpak-WMF
2. get "Open Office" on your computer
3. open a Drawing in open office.
once drawing is made you will export it to a WMF file
4. you can copy paste text into the Open Office drawing file
5. I like to use notepad and copy paste the text into the drawing file
6. when you open a floor plan in winpak it is important for it to be SIZED RIGHT
7. Under Format->Page I made Width 13" Height 7"
8. BACKUP/RESTORE your data/WMF files
the BACKUP/RESTORE does not deal with the WMF files
find the WMF within the WINPAK folder and deal with
also:
when backing up the system also backup
c:\WINPAKPRO\Database
this is the location of the floor plans
