If mapping is enabled, just replace it and panel will reassign serial number automatically.

When I looked at the options from the keypad I seen the option for mapping. I believe it said no. Can you describe mapping? Can I enable mapping from the keypad to replace this device then turn it off on the device is replaced?

thanks again

Normally it stays on all the time. You should not have to do anything. Just put the new device in

Replacing a defective SIGA-CT1 Module on a QS1

Post by packerfan »

I have a customer that has a defective SIGA- CT1 module (it got wet) on their QS1 panel. I have the level 4 pass code for the panel

Can I replace the defective module with a new one and simply change the serial number through the keypad or do I need to have the software and download the panel?

Thanks for you help
