The panel is a 6820, with 6815 loop expander, there are 2 Gateways on the system(one one one each loop). There approximately 35 WAV-RL A/V bases on the system connected to each loop (paired).
The systems seemed to operate normally except when an alarm was transmitted, ALL OF THE WAVRL'S indicated an output short and all display a trouble condition. The trouble condition would not clear unless the Gateways were forced to reform the mesh.
The WAVRL has a HRLF low frequency sounder installed. (Hotel Room application). Changing the HRLF to an SRL or P2RL did not change the indication! Still output shorted, even with no device installed on the WAVRL.
Tech support wanted us to replace the Gateways.
To date we have not been able to procure a new Gateway from Silent Knight. (Backordered since March 2024)
We have thrown the Wires devices out and hard wired the room devices many many more $$$$ on this project. The customer is now happy but I'm not.
So....
