Anyone know if the 3-SDU can be used to reprogram an XLS1000?

Pyrosucks, that would be a negative. The Honeywell version has a different SDU and microcode for the CPU's and SSDC/DDC's. Without that software and key you will not be able program the system. Talk to your area Edwards rep to see if they may give you access to the Honeywell SDU.
