The wattage of any EOL resister is only important with respect to the wire gauge of the resistor.
the higher the wattage the heavier the wire gauge. go with a 1 watt if you can.

an EOL resister of 2k with 24volts across it would only be .288 watts
an EOL resister of 47k with 8volts across it would only be .0014 watts (siga)

Rule of thumb is 1/4 watt for input modules/zones, 1/2 watt for NACS. Install sheet will indicate the "UL Listed" value to be used, but I have used either type for both situations with no problems.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the wattage of EOL Resistance used from SIGA-CT1 ? As we know we need to put the 47K Ohm resistance as EOL. Please share the wattage of EOL Resistance (1/4,1/2,1 etc.)
