if you can not install firework 1.5 with win xp sp3 and win7. cause by cannot install Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine.
But now we can install and fixed it.
If you have same error. you used mdac.inf for fixed it.
I've download all of mdac and extract to one folder using for any version window.

how did you manage installing mdac 2.8 in windows 7 machine?

I did with funny way,
I downloaded MDAC 2.6, MDAC 2.8 , MDAC 2.7 from Microsoft site, and extracted all of theme in same folder.
After that when install for any windows i click mdac.inf and install. Some time the browser alert find path, you open the browser and findout the file in this folder.
