How can i clear history or create archive when i want in fire works?

Which Fireworks version you have?

I think it takes the active history file at 10,000 events and moves it to a archive file.
if you look in C:\fireworks\archive\history you will find the archive files all about the same size.
I do not think this answered your question.
the 10,000 events maybe able to be changed with in the configuration settings.

It's right for V1.4, but I think it work different in V1.5.
In V1.5 you can request history for any period that you want and save the result in different formats (Cristal report, excel, excel data only, and other) .
